OCPIT Investigators

"Don is the founder of The OC PIT and has had paranormal encounters most of his life and discovered at an early age his sensitivity to the emotions and presence of those deceased.

Although he is an Empath his main object in investigations is to capture scientific proof through video,audio,and multiple witness accounts of paranormal events. He has worked with many of the investigators below for up to 4 years with a former So-Cal group where he was the team lead investigator.Don says his main goal is helping the client and he uses the evidence he collects not only for 1 client but as a reference for future clients that may have the same problem.

“Hilber’s paranormal experiences began almost fifty years ago while living in an allegedly haunted Victorian mansion in rural Oregon. Since that time, Hilber has globe trotted in search of anything remotely supernatural. He is a trained historian and field archeologist, an experienced photojournalist and author of three ghost hunter manuals.”

Jeff is the skeptic/debunker for OCPIT and lives in Huntington Beach. He owns a prop and costume rental business that serves the TV and film industry and is also a writer. Jeff

always analizes the situation with common sense and from a mechanical engineering

standpoint. If there is a natural cause then he will find it.

Julie not only investigates but also helps collecting and organizing case information.She is a California native and holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications from Cal State University, Fullerton. She works as an account coordinator at a public relations firm in Irvine that deals mainly with the automotive field. Having grown-up hearing stories and experiencing things that go bump in the night, She developed an early interest in the paranormal. She views herself as half skeptic and half believer. Her personal experiences have taught her that there is something more out there. But her education has taught her the value in doing proper research and not blindly accepting things on face value. As the newest member of OCPIT, she looks forward to learning more about the paranormal and gaining valuable investigation techniques.

Born in Hollywood, CA (the same day the Beatles played the Hollywood Bowl!) Susan grew up in Orange County, CA. Her interest in all things paranormal began at a young age with the usual T.V introduction of: The Twilight Zone", "The Outer Limits", "In Search Of..." and any program that dealt with the strange and unusual and unexplained. She has had many experiences with the unexplained among with what was widely believed by the family to be the spirit of her departed Grandfather; who used to live with her in Tustin in the room she took over shortly after his death in 1973. She never felt threatened by it, but was definitely intrigued and began reading whatever she could on the subject with great zeal. Experiences have included being slapped by unseen hands, objects disappearing and reappearing later, things falling over and a presence passing through her and a friend at the soldier's barracks at the San Juan Capistrano Mission. She sometimes feels and known things before they happen BUT does not claim to be psychic. She does think she may be sensitive and more finely tuned to some things and embraces it fully. She says she is very happy to be a new member of the OCPIT; and looks forward to learning even more about this realm that has so captivated her interest for so long.

 Victor is 22 years old. He was born in Malibu California and grew up in Seattle. He has resided in Southern California for the past 7 years. He has been working in kitchens for the past 5 years (3 of which at The ST, Regis in Dana Point) He has 2 prior years of working at his own place in Montana. Currently he is taking some time away from the culinary world and working in the family business (jewelry) and working on his art and getting more of what he does into galleries.Ever since he was 12 he has been very interested in everything paranormal. He says he is very excited to be part of the investigation team and looks forward to going out on any upcoming events.

Katie is 24 years old and was born and raised in Glendora, CA. (the "pride of the foothills") She now resides in Yorba Linda with her partner and 15 month old daughter. She grew up in a home that she believed to be "haunted," and feels that it still is today. From a very early age, Katie has had an interest in paranormal activity. She is an avid Ghost Hunters viewer, and has always dreamed of the opportunity to investigate the supernatural herself. She says she is honored to be one of the two new members accepted onto the OC PIT team, and looks forward to more investigations with them in the future. This new investigator is anxious to learn and I think will be a great addition to the team.

 Stacy is 33 years old, and has been living in Simi Valley, CA since she was nine, and before then, she lived in Indiana and Arkansas. Stacy has felt the presence of "spirits" since she was a small child. She is currently studying Metaphysical Science, and working towards a Bachelors, and will be continuing her studies to include a Masters and a Doctorate. She is involved in another paranormal group that is just starting up, and knows that she will be able to share her experiences with OCPIT. Stacy is excited to learn more about paranormal investigations, and looks forward to getting to know, and learning from her teamates! Stacy has a determination that is next to none and is welcome to our group.
